Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 1st July at 164.11 points lower at 52,318.60. Nifty ended 41.50 points lower at 15,680.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 30th June at 66.95 points lower at 52,482.71. Nifty ended 26.95 points lower at 15,721.50.
Bajaj Finserv, Gland Pharma, Shree Cements, Britannia Industries and Infosys were among the top losers on the Nifty. Top gainers were Dr Reddys Labs, Hindalco Industries, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Sun Pharma.
