Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 2nd July at 166.07 points higher at 52,484.67. Nifty ended 42.20 points higher at 15,722.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 1st July at 164.11 points lower at 52,318.60. Nifty ended 41.50 points lower at 15,680.00.
Gland Pharma, Divis Labs, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries and Coal India were among the top gainers on the Nifty. Top lower were Tata Steel, Britannia Industries, JSW Steel, Power Grid Corp and Hindalco.
