Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 6th September at 166.96 points higher at 58,296.91. Nifty ended 54.20 points higher at 17,377.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 3rd September at 277.41 points higher at 58,129.95. Nifty ended 89.45 points higher at 17,323.60.
Wipro, HCL Technologies, Infosys, Reliance Industries and Hindalco Industries were the top Nifty gainers. IOC, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, Britannia Industries and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top losers.
