Indian benchmark indices ended higher on February 9.
Sensex ended 167.06 points higher at 71,595.49, whereas Nifty concluded 64.55 points down at 21,782.50.
On the sectoral front, auto, capital goods, oil & gas, metal, power and realty down 0.5-2 percent each. On the other hand, PSU Bank and pharma indices up 0.5 percent each.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 723.57 points lower at 71,428.43, whereas Nifty concluded 212.55 points down at 21,717.95.
