Mumbai: Sensex closed on 27th September 2019 at 167.17 points lower at 38,822.57. Similarly, Nifty too ended 58.80 points down at 11,512.40.
Top gainers on the Nifty included Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, ITC, Bajaj Finserv and Kotak Mahindra Bank. While Vedanta, IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, Zee Entertainment and Tata Steel were among the top losers today.
In the previous season on Thursday Sensex closed at 396.22 points higher at 38,989.74. Similarly, Nifty too ended 133.10 points higher at 11,573.30. The rupee was trading at 70.685 against the dollar.
