Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Wednesday. Sensex closed on September 09, 2020 at 171.43 points low at 38,193.92. Nifty ended 39.35 points low at 11,278.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on September 08, 2020 at 51.88 points low at 38,365.35. Nifty ended 37.70 points low at 11,317.35.
Zee, Tata Steel, RIL, Cipla and Grasim were the top gainers on the Nifty50 index while SBI, GAIL, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank and IOC led the losses.
