Mumbai: The Indian equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 17th June at 178.65 points lower at 52,323.33. Nifty ended 76.15 points low at 15,691.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 16th June at 271.07 points lower at 52,501.98. Nifty ended 101.70 points low at 15,767.55.
Adani Ports, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco and Eicher Motors, while TCS, UltraTech Cement, HDFC Life, Tata Consumer and Asian Paints were among major gainers on the Nifty.
