Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Wednesday. Sensex closed on July 15, 2020 at 18.75 points higher at 36,051.81. Nifty ended 10.85 points high at 10,618.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 15, 2020 at 660.63 points lower at 36,033.06. Nifty ended 195.35 points low at 10,607.35.
The top 5 gainers on the Nifty50 index were all IT stocks – Wipro, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, and TCS, up between 2.7 per cent and 17 per cent. Meanwhile, RIL, Bharti Airtel, Zee, GAIL, and Bharti Infratel led the losses.
