Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Wednesday. Sensex closed on September 02, 2020 at 185.23 points high at 39,086.03. Nifty ended 64.75 points higher at 11,535.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on September 01, 2020 at 272.51 points high at 38,900.80. Nifty ended 82.75 points higher at 11,470.25.
ZEEL, M&M, Tata Motors, Adani Ports & SEZ and Bharti Infratel led gains among Nifty constituents while Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, HDFC Ltd and Nestle India were the top index losers.
