Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on February 8, 187.39 points higher at 57,808.58. Nifty ended 53.15 points higher at 17,266.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 7, 1,023.63 points lower at 57,621.19. Nifty ended 302.35 points lower at 17,213.95.
Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Divis Labs, Reliance Industries and Bajaj Finserv were the top Nifty gainers, while losers were ONGC, Power Grid Corporation, IOC, SBI Life Insurance and Tata Consumer Products.
