Benchmark indices ended lower on November 17.
Sensex ended 187.75 points lower at 65,794.73, whereas Nifty concluded 33.40 points down at 19,731.80.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 306.55 points higher at 65,982.48, whereas Nifty concluded 89.75 points up at 19,765.20.
SBI, Axis Bank, ONGC, BPCL and Bajaj Finance were among the top losers on the Nifty, while gainers included SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, Apollo Hospitals, Larsen & Toubro and Hero MotoCorp.
