Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 193.70 points lower at 62,428.54, whereas Nifty concluded 46.65 points down at 18,487.75.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 346.89 points lower at 62,622.24, whereas Nifty concluded 99.45 points down at 18,534.40.
Coal India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel, SBI Life Insurance and HDFC Life were among top losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Apollo Hospitals Enterprises, Divis Laboratories, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Asian Paints.
