Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Monday. Sensex closed on July 27, 2020 at 194.17 points lower at 37,934.73. Nifty ended 65.45 points low at 11,128.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 24, 2020 at 11.57 points lower at 38,128.90. Nifty ended 21.30 points low at 11,194.15.
Asian Paints, HCL Tech, Infosys, TCS and BPCL were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were ICICI Bank, Zee Entertainment, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank.
