Indian benchmark indices ended lower on March 5.
Sensex ended 195.16 points lower at 73,677.13, whereas Nifty concluded 49.30 points down at 22,356.30.
Top gainers on the Nifty were Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, SBI and ONGC, while losers were Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, Infosys and SBI Life Insurance.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 66.14 points higher at 73,872.29, whereas Nifty concluded 27.20 points up at 22,405.60.
