Indian benchmark indices ended lower on December 09.
Sensex ended 200.66 points lower at 81,508.46, whereas Nifty concluded 58.80 points down at 24,619.00.
Nifty losers included Tata Consumer, HUL, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Nestle India, while gainers were L&T, Wipro, SBI Life Insurance, BPCL, Tata Steel.
Indian rupee ended marginally lower at 84.73 per dollar on Monday versus Friday’s close of 84.69.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 809.53 points higher at 81,765.86, whereas Nifty concluded 240.95 points up at 24,708.40.
