Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 202.36 points lower at 64,948.66, whereas Nifty concluded 55.10 points down at 19,310.15.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 388.40 points lower at 65,151.02, whereas Nifty concluded 99.75 points down at 19,365.25.
Major losers on the Nifty included Hero MotoCorp, TCS, Coal India, Hindalco Industries and Tech Mahindra, while gainers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Nestle India.
