Benchmark indices ended higher in the volatile session on November 28.
Sensex ended 204.16 points up at 66,174.20, whereas Nifty concluded 95.00 points upper at 19,889.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 47.77 points down at 65,970.04, whereas Nifty concluded 7.30 points lower at 19,794.70.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Tata Motors, BPCL and Coal India, while losers were Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospitals, ICICI Bank, ITC and Cipla.
