Indian equity indices ended on a lower note in on May 28.
Sensex ended 220.05 points down at 75,170.45, whereas Nifty concluded 44.30 points down at 22,888.15.
Adani Ports, Power Grid, BPCL, Coal India, and Adani Enterprises were the top decliners in Nifty 50 universe while Divi’s, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Hero MotoCorp, and Grasim led the gains.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 19.89 points down at 75,390.50, whereas Nifty concluded 24.65 points down at 22,932.45.
