Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 17 December at 223.88 points higher at 46,890.34. Nifty ended 8.00 points high at 13,740.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 16 December at 403.29 points higher at 46,666.46. Nifty ended 114.85 points high at 13,682.70.
Divis Labs, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, HDFC Bank and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Hindalco Industries, Coal India, Adani Ports, ONGC and Power Grid Corp.
