Indian equity indices ended on higher note on November 27.
Sensex ended 230.02 points higher at 80,234.08, whereas Nifty concluded 80.40 points up at 24,274.90.
Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Bharat Electronics, Trent and NTPC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Apollo Hospitals, Titan Company, Shriram Finance, Wipro and IndusInd Bank.
Indian rupee ended 12 paise lower at 84.45 per dollar on Wednesday versus Tuesday’s close of 84.33.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 105.79 points lower at 80,004.06, whereas Nifty concluded 27.40 points down at 24,194.50.
