Indian benchmark indices erased some of the previous day losses and ended higher on Wednesday.
Sensex ended 2,303.20 points higher at 74,382.24, whereas Nifty concluded 735.85 points up at 22,620.35.
All the sectoral indices ended on a positive note with Auto, Bank, FMCG, Metal, Telecom and Media up 4-6 percent.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 4,389.73 points down at 72,079.05, whereas Nifty concluded 1,379.40 points lower at 21,884.50.
