Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on March 26, 231.29 points higher at 57,593.49. Nifty ended 69.00 points higher at 17,222.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 25, 233.48 points lower at 57,362.20. Nifty ended 69.75 points lower at 17,153.00.
Bharti Airtel, Coal India, Axis Bank, Eicher Motors and ICICI Bank were among the top Nifty gainers. On the other hand, UPL, SBI Life Insurance, Nestle India, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, HDFC were among the big losers.
