Mumbai: Sensex closed on May 06, 2020 at 232.24 points higher at 31,685.75. Nifty ended 65.30 points up at 9,270.90.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on May 05, 2020 at 261.84 points lower at 31,453.51. Nifty ended 87.90 points down at 9,205.60.
Bajaj Finance, M&M, GAIL, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bharti Infratel, ITC, Coal India, IOC and UPL.
