Mumbai: The benchmark indices ended lower on October 20.
Sensex ended 231.62 points lower at 65,397.62, whereas Nifty concluded 82.05 points down at 19,542.65.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 247.78 points lower at 65,629.24, whereas Nifty concluded 46.40 points down at 19,624.70.
ITC, Divis Labs, HUL, BPCL and Tata Steel were biggest losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, TCS, SBI Life Insurance and NTPC.
