Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on March 25, 233.48 points lower at 57,362.20. Nifty ended 69.75 points lower at 17,153.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 24, 89.14 points lower at 57,595.68. Nifty ended 22.90 points lower at 17,222.75.
Among the sectors, auto, FMCG, capital goods, pharma and IT shed over half a percent each while realty ended in the green.
