The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on April 13, 237.44 points lower at 58,338.93. Nifty ended 64.50 points lower at 17,465.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on April 12, 388.20 points lower at 58,576.37. Nifty ended 144.65 points lower at 17,530.30.
Maruti Suzuki, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and Dr Reddy’s Labs were among the top Nifty losers. However, ONGC, Apollo Hospitals, ITC, Sun Pharma and UPL were the top gainers.
