Benchmark indices ended closer today. Sensex ended 241.79 points up at 67,596.84, whereas Nifty concluded 59.05 points down at 20,133.30.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 319.63 points up at 67,838.63, whereas Nifty concluded 89.25 points higher at 20,192.35.
Top losers on the Nifty included Hindalco Industries, Jio Financial, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel and Adani Ports, while gainers were Titan Company, M&M, BPCL, HDFC Life and Power Grid Corporation.
