Mumbai: Sensex closed on May 07, 2020 at 242.37 points lower at 31,443.38. Nifty ended 71.85 points down at 9,199.05.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on May 06, 2020 at 232.24 points higher at 31,685.75. Nifty ended 65.30 points up at 9,270.90.
IndusInd Bank, Bharti Infratel, Adani Ports, JSW Steel and M&M were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included ONGC, NTPC, BPCL, Kotak Mahindra Bank and GAIL.
