Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 20th April at 243.62 points lower at 47,705.80. Nifty ended 63.05 points low at 14,296.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 19th April at 882.61 points lower at 47,949.42. Nifty ended 258.40 points low at 14,359.45.
On the Nifty50 index, Dr Reddy’s, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Life and Tata Consumer were the top gainers while UltraTech Cement, HCL Tech, HDFC, Shree Cement, and Grasim led the losses.
