Mumbai: Sensex closed on 11th October 2019 at 246.68 points higher at 38,127.08. Similarly, Nifty too ended 70.55 points up at 11,305.10.
Suzlon Energy, Adani Green Energy, Indiabulls Real Estate, Vedanta, Tata Motors, Infosys, Minda Industries and Bank of Baroda were among the top gainers today, while Reliance Capital, Dewan Housing Finance Limited or DHFL, RBL Bank, Reliance Power, Aurobindo Pharma, PNB Housing Finance, Vodafone Idea and Yes Bank were among the top losers.
In the previous season on Thursday, Sensex ended 297.55 points lower at 37,880.40. Similarly, Nifty too ended 78.75 points down at 11,234.55.
The rupee is trading at 71.042 against the dollar.
