Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 10th March at 254.03 points lower at 51,279.51. Nifty ended 76.40 points high at 15,174.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 9th March at 584.41 points lower at 51,025.48. Nifty ended 142.20 points high at 15,098.40.
JSW Steel, Eicher Motors, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance and Sun Pharma were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included SBI Life Insurance, ONGC, IOC, HDFC Life and GAIL.
