Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 255.84 points down at 64,831.41, whereas Nifty concluded 93.65 points lower at 19,253.80.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 11.43 points up at 65,087.25, whereas Nifty concluded 4.80 points higher at 19,347.45.
The biggest losers on the Nifty included Adani Enterprises, BPCL, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors and Britannia Industries, while gainers were Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, HDFC Life, Titan Company and Hindalco Industries.
