Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 25th February at 257.62 points higher at 51,039.31. Nifty ended 115.35 points high at 15,097.35.
In the previous season, Sensex closed 1,030 points higher at 50,782 while the Nifty 50 advanced by 274 points to 14,982.
Coal India, UPL, Adani Ports, Hindalco Industries and BPCL were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were ICICI Bank, Nestle, L&T, Divis Labs and Titan.
