Mumbai: On Friday, the benchmark indices ended with the gains. Sensex on 30th August 2019 ended 263.86 points higher at 37,332.79. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 74.95 points up at 11,023.25.
Vedanta, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Hindalco and ITC were among the top gainers today.
Top losers in the Sensex pack included Power Grid, Bharti Infratel, Coal India, NTPC and Indian Oil Corporation
In the previous season on 29th August 2019 Sensex ended 382.91 points lower at 37,068.93. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 97.80 points down at 10,948.30.
The Indian rupee was trading near day’s high at 71.49 per dollar.
