Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Thursday. Sensex closed on July 23, 2020 at 268.95 points higher at 38,140.47. Nifty ended 82.85 points higher at 11,215.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 22, 2020 at 58.81 points lower at 37,871.52. Nifty ended 29.65 points low at 11,132.60.
Eicher Motors, SBI, ICICI Bank, IOC and Reliance Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Axis Bank, Shree Cements, HUL, Infosys and TCS.
