Mumbai: The Indian equity benchmark indices ended at fresh record closing levels. Sensex closed on 16th June at 271.07 points lower at 52,501.98. Nifty ended 101.70 points low at 15,767.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 15th June at 221.52 points higher at 52,773.05. Nifty ended 57.40 points high at 15,869.25.
BSE Basic Materials, energy, industrials, telecom, capital goods, consumer durables, power and realty indices fell over a percent each.
