Indian benchmark indices ended higher on Wednesday.
Sensex ended 285.95 points higher at 81,741.34, whereas Nifty concluded 93.85 points up at 24,951.15.
NTPC, Asian Paints, BPCL, JSW Steel and Tata Motors were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Britannia Industries, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Tata Consumer, Reliance Industries, Grasim Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 99.55 points higher at 81,455.40, whereas Nifty concluded 21.20 points up at 24,836.10.
