Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 30th September at 286.91 points lower at 59,126.36. Nifty ended 93.15 points lower at 17,618.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 29th September at 254.33 points lower at 59,413.27. Nifty ended 37.30 points lower at 17,711.30.
Power Grid Corp, Axis Bank, Asian Paints, Eicher Motors and Hero MotoCorp were among the major losers on the Nifty. Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharam, NTPC and Tata Motors were among the gainers.
