Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Wednesday. Sensex closed on June 10, 2020 at 290.36 points higher at 34,247.05. Nifty ended 69.50 points high at 10,116.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on June 9, 2020 at 413.89 points lower at 33,956.69. Nifty ended 120.80 points low at 10,046.65.
IndusInd Bank, Hindalco Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Shree Cements and Reliance Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Hero MotoCorp, GAIL, Coal India, Bajaj Auto and Tata Steel.
