Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 19th May at 290.69 points lower at 49,902.64. Nifty ended 88.10 points low at 15,020.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 18th May at 612.60 points higher at 50,193.33. Nifty ended 184.95 points high at 15,108.10.
Tata Motors, HDFC, JSW Steel, M&M and Bajaj Finserv were among the top losers on the Nifty. Gainers included Coal India, Cipla, Sun Pharma, UPL and IOC.
