Mumbai: Equity Indices ended on higher note today. On August 25, Sensex closed 310.71 points lower at 58,774.72. Nifty ended 82.50 points down at 17,522.45.
In the previous season, on August 24, Sensex closed 54.13 points higher at 59,085.43. Nifty ended 27.45 points up at 17,604.95.
Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Power Grid Corporation and NTPC were among the major Nifty losers. The gainers included Shree Cements, Hindalco Industries, Divis Laboratories, Eicher Motors and Grasim Industries.
