Sensex ends 333 points higher, Nifty above 19,800

Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 333.34 points up at 66,598.91, whereas Nifty concluded 92.90 points higher at 19,819.95.

In the previous season, Sensex ended 385.04 points up at 66,265.56, whereas Nifty concluded 116.00 points up at 19,727.05.

Coal India, NTPC, BPCL, Tata Motors and Larsen and Toubro were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included UPL, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospitals, ITC and UltraTech Cement.
