Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 20th May at 337.78 points lower at 49,564.86. Nifty ended 124.10 points low at 14,906.05.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 19th May at 290.69 points lower at 49,902.64. Nifty ended 88.10 points low at 15,020.00.
Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, Coal India, Britannia Industries and ONGC were among the top losers on the Nifty. Gainers included M&M, Cipla, BPCL, IndusInd Bank and Titan Company.
