Indian equity indices ended on strong note on August 29.
Sensex ended 349.05 points higher at 82,134.61, whereas Nifty concluded 99.60 points up at 25,151.95.
Biggest Nifty gainers were Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Britannia Industries and BPCL, while losers included Grasim Industries, M&M, JSW Steel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 73.80 points higher at 81,785.56, whereas Nifty concluded 34.60 points up at 25,052.35.
