Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on March 29, 350.16 points higher at 57,943.65. Nifty ended 103.30 points higher at 17,325.30.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 26, 231.29 points higher at 57,593.49. Nifty ended 69.00 points higher at 17,222.00.
Eicher Motors, Divis Labs, JSW Steel, HDFC and Adani Ports were among the top Nifty gainers. On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp, ONGC, Coal India, IOC and ITC were among the big losers.
