Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 04 February at 358.54 points higher at 50,614.29. Nifty ended 105.70 points high at 14,895.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 03 February at 458.03 points higher at 50,255.75. Nifty ended 142.10 points high at 14,789.95.
ITC, SBI, Bajaj Finance, Coal India and ONGC were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Asian Paints, UPL, Cipla, IndusInd Bank and Tata Motors.
