Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Monday. Sensex closed on August 24, 2020 at 364.36 points high at 38,799.08. Nifty ended 94.85 points higher at 11,466.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 21, 2020 at 214.33 points high at 38,434.72. Nifty ended 59.40 points higher at 11,371.60.
Zee Entertainment, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Power Grid Corp, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports, M&M and Hindalco Industries.
