Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on January 25 at 366.64 points higher at 57,858.15. Nifty ended 128.85 points higher at 17,277.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on January 24 at 1,545.67 points lower at 57,491.51. Nifty ended 468.05 points lower at 17,149.10.
Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank and UPL were the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Wipro, Bajaj Finserv, Titan Company, Infosys and Tech Mahindra.
