Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 22, 382.91 points lower at 57,300.68. Nifty ended 114.45 points lower at 17,092.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 21, 149.38 points lower at 57,683.59. Nifty ended 69.65 points lower at 17,206.65.
Tata Steel, TCS, BPCL, Tata Motors and SBI Life Insurance were the top Nifty losers. Gainers included M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Eicher Motors, Hindalco Industries and ONGC.
