Mumbai: Sensex closed on February 26, 2020 at 392.24 points lower at 39,888.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 119.40 points down at 11,678.50.
Sun Pharma, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Infosys and L&T were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Yes Bank, Bharti Infratel, SBI, Britannia Industries and HCL Tech.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on February 25, 2020 at 82.03 points lower at 40,281.20. Similarly, Nifty ended 31.50 points down at 11,797.90.
The rupee is trading at 71.635 against the dollar.
